Kenneth Ray Morris Jr., 31, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.

Who is Kenny Morris?

Affectionately known as “Kenny”, he was born on October 30, 1988 in Long Branch, N.J. to the late Bernadine Lorraine Phillips and Kenneth Ray Morris Sr.

He matriculated through the Long Branch public school system and eventually at one time was employed there.

Talented Singer

Kenny Morris was an extraordinary singer and entertainer whose talent was recognized and cultivated in a host of programs in the Long Branch schools under the direction of his mentor, Mr. Ronald Bennett.

As his gift emerged, Kenny created a Youtube channel to showcase his talent to a broader audience. The channel garnered thousands of views and subscribers.

From those roots, Kenny rose through the ranks and became a featured performer at the World Famous Apollo Theater, BET’s 106 & Park, and was hand selected by entertainment and fashion mogul, Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ as a contestant on season one of MTV’s Making The Band.

Kenny Morris leaves behind loved ones to cherish his memory

Most of all, Kenny Morris was a proud father of three beautiful daughters. A beloved grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, friend, who will be sorely missed.

He leaves to cherish his memory his three daughters, his father, seven loving sisters, two brothers, a host of nieces and nephews; his six uncles and three aunts his stepfather and stepmother as well as 31 first cousins, a host of cousins and friends.
