Rising artist Sophia Domeville, affectionately known as “Ms. Phia“, has returned to her love of art with her exhibition “My Soliloquy of Chaos”.
“My Soliloquy of Chaos” chronicles Domeville’s journey as an artist using abstract painting to “develop a world filled with raw emotion.”
The idea behind Domeville’s creation comes from everyday life, self-perception of society as a Haitian Woman, and finding consistency within inconsistency. The exhibition will display topics of love, death, hope and the meaning of life.
“There will be various abstract paintings as well as body sculptures, creating a 3-dimensional experience for the audience while playing with the concept of space.”
The opening of the exhibition “My Soliloquy of Chaos” held will be Saturday January 7th at Jade Eatery and Lounge, 1 Square Station in the Forest Hills section of Queens. Doors will open at 8pm.
Jade Eatery, known for its Asian fusion cuisine, will have a food and beverage menu available for patrons of the reception. Menu options can be provided by contacting Touch of Perfeccion Management, [email protected]. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Snatch-1 of New York’s own WBLS (107.5 FM) and internet DJ sensation GeekChicDJs. This event is only for patrons ages 21 and older and admission is free. — The BotchwayShow
