Jordan Burroughs wins gold medal in 74-Kilo freestyle wrestling final

Unheard Voices wants to extend a congratulations to fellow New Jersey native, Jordan Burroughs, on winning the GOLD in the 74-Kilo Freestyle Wrestling, beating Iran’s Sadegh Saeed Goudarzi 1-0, 1-0.
Burroughs win gives the United States its first wrestling gold medal of the London Games.
Jordan Burroughs beat Denis Tsargush of Russia in the semifinals, then got past Goudarzi in a rematch of their world championship bout in 2011.
The Sickerville, N.J. native has won 38 straight freestyle matches since leaving the University of Nebraska.
