Lakeshia Richmond : Mother arrested for beating accused child molester with a bat
Lakeshia Richmond doesn’t think twice when it comes to protecting her children
Lakeshia Richmond doesn’t think twice when it comes to protecting her children.
Richmond listened when her two children accused a man of molesting them. The Memphis mother of two young boys was arrested and faces aggravated assault charges after beating Tony Massey with a bat.
One of Richmond’s son told her that Massey, who is a baseball coach, touched him and other kids inappropriately.
After seeing Massey walking down the street, Richmond grabbed her bat and began swinging at him.
Massey was found bleeding with severe wounds to the head and face.
According to reports, Richmond said, “When I see him, I see my kids being hurt and that’s all I see.”
Massey remains in the hospital and is currently being investigated for child molestation.
Sound off. Did Lakeshia Richmond do the right thing by attacking the person who allegedly molested her son, or should she have let the law handle the situation?
