Protesters marched to the front of the statehouse in Columbia, SC this evening to participate in ‘Take Down The Flag’ protest and rally.
Take Down The Flag was a call to action to remove the Confederate Flag following the senseless tragedy of nine people killed at a historic church in Charleston.
Protestors and Americans across the country are calling for the flag to be removed from statehouse as it symbolizes a long standing history of hate and racism. It’s time for the flag to come down.
