Black churches are reportedly being burned all over the south
At least six predominantly black churches in the Southern states have been damaged or destroyed by fire in the past week
While some people across country are still mourning the victims of the massacre at the church in Charleston, and others are praising President Obama for singing Amazing Grace, very little attention is paid to the other Black churches being burned.

Knoxville, TN 6/21
Macon, GA 6/23
Charlotte, NC 6/24
Warrenville, SC 6/26
Tallahassee, FL 6/26
Update:
Williamsburg County, South Carolina 6/30
The Knoxville fire department has said that there had been multiple fires set on the church’s property and the church’s van was also burned. A fire at the Briar Creek Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina was also caused by arson and destroyed an education wing that was meant to house a summer program for children, causing an estimated $250,000 in damage.
“When I did think about the possibilities of there being any ugliness behind this, I instantly start praying and just saying: ‘God, just please have mercy,'” said Co-Pastor Rhonda Kinsey in the interview to Time Warner Cable News.
Church in Macon was set on fire early Tuesday morning and it is also considered as an arson.
“I’m very calm about it, I’m at peace, I don’t have any hate in my heart,” associate pastor Jeanette Dudley said. “Whoever it is, I don’t have any hate in my heart. I just know that it’s working out for our good.”
FBI is still investigating a fire at the Warrenville, SC, and in Tallahassee, Fla. Early indications led officials to believe that it may have been an electrical fire.
