King In The Wilderness

I felt that this was the best documentary on Martin Luther King Jr.
It went into so many different things that he took part of. For example, besides fighting for the rights for all people in the Civil Rights Movement, he took on issues such as calling for peace instead of war in Vietnam and trying to end the problem with poverty. I enjoyed how the documentary explained from the Civil Rights, calling an end to the war in Vietnam, and declaring a war on poverty, that he was brining all people together regardless of their background.

Viewpoint

From a historical point of view, I felt because Dr. King was involved with so much and his effort was seen throughout the country, it was possible that he could of ran for the U.S. Presidency. For instance, his strong involvement of equality and bringing people together could have first launched him to becoming a governor of his home state or even a senator. From there, that could have propelled him to becoming a candidate and even winning the U.S. Presidency.

I recommend this documentary King in the Wilderness. I felt it did a great job going into depth about all the challenges he faced and his strong will to never give up.
