George Zimmerman civil rights case set
A federal grand jury was scheduled on Wednesday to begin hearing the civil rights case against George Zimmerman in Orlando
A federal grand jury was scheduled on Wednesday to begin hearing the civil rights case against George Zimmerman in Orlando.
As reported by ClickOrlando:
During the closed proceeding, they’ll likely hear testimony on whether Zimmerman violated Trayvon Martin’s civil rights when he killed the unarmed teen in 2012.
At least one witness has been subpoenaed to testify, believed to be Zimmerman’s friend and neighbor Frank Taaffe.
Throughout Zimmerman’s murder trial, Taaffe defended Zimmerman, but recently changed his mind.
It’s not clear how long testimony could last.
