The brother of former Apprentice star Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, Jack Manigault, 40, was shot and killed in Ohio in an apparent lover’s quarrel.

According to NBC News, Manigault was sleeping at home with his girlfriend when the ex-boyfriend forced his way into the residence, entered the bedroom and fired several shots.

Manigault attempted to run from the room, but collapsed with a gunshot wound to the head. The alleged suspect, 22-year-old Marco Cardenas, was arrested a short time later.

Omarosa released a statement on the death of her brother:

“My brother was so special to us! We loved him unconditionally. And we were so proud of him when he turned his life around and gave his life to God two years ago.”
