Funeral director says no injuries on Trayvon Martin’s hands
The funeral director who handled Trayvon Martin’s body has now come forward to talk about his account on the case.
More and more details are coming out about the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin.
The funeral director who handled Trayvon Martin’s body has now come forward to talk about his account on the case.
Richard Kurtz, a funeral director for Roy Mizell and Kurtz Funeral Home in Fort Lauderdale, said when he heard George Zimmerman‘s claim of self-defense, said “it did not add up”.
“I did not see any signs that would indicate to me that [Martin] was beating anybody. He just looked like a normal person that got shot.”
Krutz said he looked for bruises and cuts on Martin’s body but did see any.
“As for his hands and knuckles, I didn’t see any evidence he had been fighting anybody.”
Trayvon Martin was shot and killed by George Zimmerman on February 26th in which Zimmerman claims it was in self-defense.
Many are refuting Zimmerman’s claims of self-defense. A newly released video shows Zimmerman walking into the police station with no visible signs of blood or bruises after fatally shooting Martin.
In a police report, Zimmerman told police he fought with Martin. He said he ended up in a life or death situation leading up to fatally shooting Martin. However, the video obtained by ABC News, shows Zimmerman’s claims seem to be inconsistent with the statements he released to police.
