Watch Scarface speak out against police brutality on HuffPost Live
In a passionate interview on HuffPost Live with Marc Lamont Hill, rapper Scarface speaks out against police brutality.

On HuffPost Live, rapper Scarface sat down with Marc Lamont Hill and spoke about social injustice and police brutality in America.
Scarface, whose real name is Brad Terrance Johnson, passionately talked about unjust treatment that black Americans have endured at the hands of law enforcement.
“I feel like we’re being hunted,” Scarface told The Huffington Post during an in-studio interview.
With apparent disgust and anger, Scarface talked about public lynchings of the 20th century and stressed that today, police officers have carte blanche.
“It’s like the society believes what the officers say, and he’s got way more of a reason to lie than we do, than I do,” he told host Marc Lamont Hill.
“You killed that man. And he don’t even get a day in court. Well, not that the judicial system is set up for us to benefit from in any fucking way. You dead on both sides, man. You are.”
When speaking directly to witnesses of police brutality, Scarface pointed out that people must see the injustices in the system in order for something to be done.
“If these people…[and] don’t see that it’s an injustice in the system when it comes to dealing with the minority, then we’re going to continue to have this fucking problem,” he told Hill.
“If you see it’s fucked up, say it’s fucked up. If you see it’s fucked up, you’ve got to say it. I don’t give a fuck if you’re white, black, green or brown. You’ve got to say it.”
