Miss Robbie Montgomery says she’s “too weak” to speak on Tim Norman’s Arrest: “Keep praying for me and my son”
Since news broke that Tim Norman was charged over allegedly being involved in a murder-for-hire plot to kill his nephew, many people have thought about Miss Robbie.
Many people have had concerns about Miss Robbie Montgomery since news broke that her son Tim Norman was arrested and charged.
Norman allegedly was involved in a murder-for-hire plot to kill his nephew, Andre Montgomery Jr.
Miss Robbie on son’s arrest
St. Louis-based talk show host April Simpson was able to get in touch with Miss Robbie, briefly over text, to find out, reports Madame Noire.
According to Simpson, the 80-year-old restaurateur is understandably having a hard time dealing with the latest events and stated she won’t be giving any official statements anytime soon.
Statement
“Life seems unreal right now, especially for people dealing with pain and heartache. One of those people is our beloved Ms. Robbie Montgomery,” she wrote on Facebook.
“I, April Simpson, reached out to her letting her know she is loved and has an immense amount of support.”
“Understandingly, she is not ready to talk and just wants prayers,” she added.
“In a text to me she wrote quote: “Thanks For The Prayers, But At This Time I’m Weak And Can’t Make A Statement. Please Keep Praying For Me And My Son”
Why Tim Norman was arrested
Norman was arrested in August accused of aiding in orchestrating Andre’s 2016 murder alongside dancer Terica Ellis.
Authorities say this was done to collect on the life insurance policies he had for the then 21-year-old, which Norman put in place in 2014.
Other charges
Norman was also charged with a conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud as it’s alleged that he lied on the life insurance application forms.
The latter charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
