Baylor Lady Bears made history as they became the first team ever in college basketball men or women to end the season with a perfect 40 – 0 record.
Grimes had 26pts, 13 rebounds and 5 block shots and was named the most valuable player of the game.
Teammate point guard Odyssey Sims directed the team to a win with her intense play and smart thinking. The one, two combination of Grimes and Odyssey proved too lethal for the fighting Irish of Notre Dame.
