If you want to watch reality television that you won’t cringe at, R&B Divas is definitely a must to watch.

TV One presents R&B Divas

The show chronicles Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert, Syleena Johnson, KeKe Wyatt, and Monifah’s friendship as well as their personal and professional lives.

The hour long, eight episode show will document the ladies coming together to produce a charity album inspired by Whitney Houston. Proceeds from the album will benefit the Whitney E. Houston Academy of Creative and Performing Arts in East Orange, New Jersey.

As this project unfolds, so does a candid look at other career and personal issues affecting the divas, including motherhood, divorce, alcohol and physical abuse as well as entrepreneurial pursuits. — Billboard

Originally titled “Ladies of R&B,” TV One’s “R&B Divas” is filmed primarily in Atlanta, with additional shooting in Washington, D.C., New York and New Orleans. The series is produced for TV One by Thinkfactory Media. Executive producers are Adam Reed, Adam Freeman, and Leslie Greif; co-executive producers are Phil Thornton, Paul Coy Allen, Faith Evans and Nicci Gilbert. Executive in charge of production for TV One is Jubba Seyyid.
