Jasmine Twitty, 25, of Easley, South Carolina, made history by becoming the youngest person ever sworn in as a judge.
Images of Twitty in court reciting an oath and posing behind the judge’s bench went viral on social media.
Twitty is an alumnus of the College of Charleston in South Carolina and a member of the Upstate Network Young Professionals Board where she helps improve career development for the youth.
She is also the treasurer of the civil rights organization, the Urban League of Upstate.
