Police say Sterling entered a parked vehicle with Holliman‑Peoples and another unidentified individual, and the dispute escalated until someone fired shots inside the car.
Authorities responded to the Lyke House Catholic Center just before 2:00pm where they found Sterling. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
