Caleb Williams leads change through Caleb Cares Foundation
In recognition of his efforts, the NFLPA pledged a $10,000 donation to Caleb Cares.
The Caleb Cares Foundation is driving Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams’ mission to uplift young people, and that work earned him the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) Community MVP for Week 11. As a result, Williams received the honor for the second straight season, showing his steady commitment to service beyond the football field.
NFLPA Honors Caleb Williams for Community Impact
In recognition of his efforts, the NFLPA pledged a $10,000 donation to Caleb Cares. Because of this support, fans can also join the mission by giving through the foundation’s official GoFundMe page. This helped ensure that Williams’ programs continue to empower youth across the country.
Youth Football Team Experiences Mentorship Weekend
Williams recently hosted 40 members of his Caleb Williams Elite youth football team in Chicago. During the trip, the all-expenses-paid weekend focused on mentorship, education, and empowerment.
- The student-athletes attended an AI workshop in partnership with Microsoft.
- They watched the Bears secure a comeback victory from end-zone seats.
- They met with Chicago Bears executives, including Chairman George McCaskey and President Kevin Warren, who shared career insights.
At the end of the weekend, Williams shared advice with his players. “When you find something you love, you’re the only one that can make it happen. So make it happen,” he said.
Caleb Cares Foundation’s Mission: Empowerment and Mental Health
The Caleb Cares Foundation centers its mission on empowering young people, with a strong emphasis on mental health awareness. Because of this focus, every tax-deductible donation directly supports programs that offer mentorship, educational opportunities, and real help to families in need.
Through these efforts, Williams covers travel, lodging, and meaningful experiences for youth athletes. His leadership ensures that young people not only see success on the field but also gain tools to thrive off it.
Path Toward the Alan Page Community Award
Williams’ recognition as NFLPA Community MVP places him among other honorees eligible for the Alan Page Community Award, the NFLPA’s highest honor. If selected, the winner receives an additional $100,000 donation for their nonprofit of choice.
With his foundation’s growing reach, and with fans continuing to support the GoFundMe campaign, Williams keeps leading change in his community. His work shows that football can inspire more than victories—it can spark lasting impact.
